The Pastechi House

Family-Owned Since 2005

Our Heritage

Born in Aruba. Produced in Our Own Facilities.

The Pastechi House opened its doors in 2005 on Caya G.F. Betico Croes, Oranjestad's bustling Main Street. From day one, the mission was simple: make the best pastechi in Aruba, using only the freshest ingredients, prepared daily in our own production facility.

The pastechi is Aruba's iconic fried pastry, a slightly sweet golden dough stuffed with savory fillings. Think of it as the island's answer to the empanada, but with a character all its own. At The Pastechi House, we took this beloved tradition and elevated it with over 20 premium flavors.

From classic ham & cheese to lobster (when in season), from keri keri fish to Indian samosa, from spanakopita to vegan cheese, every flavor is handmade with care. We guarantee consistency in flavor and texture.

Twenty years later, we're proud to be Aruba's most famous pastechi destination. Featured in Fodor's, Aruba.com, and TasteAtlas, with 1,396 Google reviews and counting.

Why Us

What Makes Us Different

Made In Our Own Facilities

Every pastechi is produced in our own facility on the island. Not outsourced, not frozen, not reheated. Made fresh every single day.

Main Street Location

Right on Caya Betico Croes in downtown Oranjestad. Walking distance from the cruise port, near Renaissance Hotel, on the free trolley route.

20+ Premium Flavors

Most bakeries offer 3 to 5 pastechi flavors. We offer over 20: cheese, ham & cheese, beef, chicken, tuna, lobster, salmon, keri keri, chop suey, Indian samosa, spanakopita, pizza, shrimp, crab, vegan, and more.

Family-Owned, 20 Years Strong

Not a chain. Not a franchise. A family business that has been serving Aruba since 2005. The quality and the welcome have never changed.
